I love shopping and discovering vintage treasures for the home. I make every effort to ensure that these lovely items will survive careful use. They are old, you know!
With clothing and linens, I wash the items in warm or cold water (usually machine, sometimes by hand) with ecologically safe detergent (no harsh chemicals). Usually, they are line dried--depending upon item.
All other items are checked for soundness of parts and structure.
*Paper tissue patterns are checked carefully for all pieces. Integrity of the pattern covers varies with age. All pieces should be intact, however.
